How do we apply LXD in mobile learning?

When designing for mobile deployment, LXD needs to consider mobile principles of user interface design (UI) and user experience design (UX). Applying LXD to mobile applications goes far beyond designing learning objectives and activities since physical interaction and usage of mobile devices is different than face-to-face learning or even learning at a desktop computer.

How users interact with mobile devices must be considered to make mobile LXD relevant and useful. Since mobile devices lend themselves well to “just-in-time” and “on the go” access to information, design decisions need to be made about what information will be presented on mobile devices, information structure, and the delivery of that information. This includes designing intentionally for mobile first and ensuring that the learning experience is effective and enjoyable across multiple screen sizes, especially popular phones and tablets.
